Rosary of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
The rosary will take place outdoors at the Marian Grotto in Dorval.
LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS
The Marian Grotto is located at the intersection of Lilas Street and Dawson Street on the grounds of the CHSLD in the woods.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Organization: Event organized by volunteers from the Parish of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin of Dorval.
● Parking: On Lilas Street or in the church parking lot at 665 Av. de l'Église, Dorval, QC H9S 1R4
● Comfort: We suggest you bring folding chairs or blankets so you can sit comfortably on the grass.
● Weather: In case of heavy rain, the rosary will take place at the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin at 665 Av. de l’Église.

The pastoral team of the Parish of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is organizing a monthly outdoor rosary at the Flame of Love during the summer.
The goal is twofold:
- to spread awareness of and share the graces of the Flame of Love
- to introduce people to and help them appreciate a Marian grotto, similar to Our Lady of Lourdes, built on the former grounds of a religious congregation
The first rosary of the summer, this Saturday, July 18, began in the rain. Instead of canceling everything, the team of volunteers opened the church so they could welcome the statue of Mary, the Flame of Love, and recite the rosary indoors.
For Marcel Dufour, this was an opportunity to get to know some members of the parish’s pastoral team and to reconnect with people eager to share the graces of the Flame of Love within their community.
There were beautiful moments of sharing the gift of Jesus’ Flame of Love through Mary to blind Satan and strengthen us.
All the participants wanted to learn more and left with brochures so they could read about and share these graces with those around them.

Origins of the Parish: A Parish and Church Dedicated to Mary
The parish celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2025.
Founded by the Montfortian Fathers, the parish was established by a canonical decree on February 1, 1895, and opened for worship in 1900.
True to Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort and his devotion to the Virgin Mary, they dedicated the church to Mary, naming it “La Présentation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge.”
This refers to Mary’s consecration at the Temple in Jerusalem by her parents, Anne and Joachim, when she was just three years old.
Located in the heart of the village of Dorval, our parish remains dedicated to Mary, Mother of God, whom we invoke as our protector and spiritual guide.
Our mission is to proclaim the Good News with faith and enthusiasm, to provide a place of renewal and prayer, and to build a fraternal community inspired by the love of Christ. Our parish welcomes the faithful of all ages and backgrounds, with a special focus on inclusion, solidarity, and the transmission of Christian values.
