Mary Queen of the World Cathedral in Montreal
Priest Alain Vaillancourt and Father Arul Jayaraj, c.s.c.
It is with pleasure that we present to you the stages of this Flame of Love Festival that we celebrated with more than 80 people. They can be followed worldwide. We even suggest that you repeat this way of doing things at different times of the year. Especially if you have to introduce newcomers to the Flame of Love Movement.
This way, every Canadian province can follow suit and do the same. In this way, we will respond to the desires of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the following Message given to Elisabeth Kindelmann on May 4, 1962:
"On the feast of Candlemas, my beloved sons will introduce the Flame of Love of my heart in procession, so that, in such fashion, it becomes a living fire in the hearts, in the souls. Everything must be prepared in such a way that it spreads like wildfire.
Let those souls whom I have chosen do everything to prepare for the great mission ahead."
Are we the souls chosen by the Virgin Mary?
And Jesus said to Elizabeth the same day:
"I choose you, My little one, to be the bearer of My Divine Mercy. Fill yourself with the abundance of My Divine Mercy and when you open your mouth to speak, proclaim the mercy of My Heart burning of desire for sinners.
Let your whole life be a burning desire to take part in My work of Redemption through prayer, sacrifice and desire."
These four videos are in French. We translate a little of it so that you can know the meaning.
Receiving the Flame of Love
Father Alain Vaillancourt and Father Arul Jayaraj, CSC, presented the Flame of Love to each person individually.
Father Vaillancourt lit his candle from the Paschal Candle, and then the faithful came forward to receive from the priests the words that the Virgin Mary spoke to Elizabeth Kindelmann:
"Take this Flame… It is the Flame of Love of my heart. Ignite your own heart with it and then pass it on to others." (13 avril 1962)
Blessing of the candles
at the cathedral nativity scene
The blessing of the lit candles takes place at the cathedral's nativity scene by Father Alain Vaillancourt, accompanied by Father Arul Jayaraj, CSC. Then, the procession continues to the altar for the Eucharistic celebration of Candlemas and the Flame of Love.
Processional Song:
